Last night we were part of the Broadway:The Future concert at the Lincoln Center Library. Audiences were treated to amazing performances by Matt Lutz, Jonathan Shew, Autumn Hurlbert, and of course our favorite amazing Musical Director Aaron Jodoin. An additional perk to the evening was that I got to meet my first Jean Valjean. It turns out that Jonathan’s father is Broadway veteran Tim Shew, who I saw as Jean Valjean in Les Miserables back in 1988. Needless to say, talent definitely runs in the family. All in all, an amazing evening.
Arts and Artists at St. Paul will present its first Songbook concert of this – its 19th season – on Monday, October 26th at 6PM at The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center. The concert will be held in the Bruno Walter Auditorium – 111 Amsterdam Avenue, just south of 65th Street. This Songbook will be featuring an array of new composers and lyricists all having their songs performed by some of Broadway and Cabaret’s best. This concert is Produced, Directed and Hosted by John Znidarsic. Admission is FREE and seating is on a first come-first serve basis.
We will be among the featured writers for the evening. Come see two of our songs from TRAILS performed by the amazing Matt Lutz, Autumn Hurlbert and Jonathan Shew.
