For the past two years LaRed Music Theatre has been mounting a 48 hour musical  festival in Highland Park, IL.  Each year 4 writers or writing teams create original 15 minute musicals inspired by famous quotes and written for a pre-determined cast. The shows are written and rehearsed in 48 hours.
